Abstract
The article considers the topic of textbook bias in state history textbooks using the case of the Salzburgers in the early development of Georgia. While the presence of bias is inconclusive, the article suggests that issues of textbook bias are relevant concerns for teachers and students of history at all levels. The article was submitted for consideration in special edition on textbook analysis.
