This article is about Tesla, Inc., which was founded in 2003 by a group of engineers in Silicon Valley with the vision of creating zero-emission electric cars better than gasoline automobiles. Thus, Tesla’s mission was to accelerate the advent of sustainable transport by providing compelling mass-market electric cars as soon as possible. Driven by the vision to build electric cars and the mission to produce mass-market affordable cars, Tesla is not just an automaker, but is also a technology company with a focus on energy innovation.
