Abstract
Indian Companies have been cross-listing their shares on the U.S. stock exchanges since 1999. The study finds that by the availability of Indian company shares in the U.S. stock markets, U.S. investors benefited by improved diversification opportunities. Cross-listed Indian firms also benefitted from increased visibility in the U.S.
