Abstract
This qualitative study examines the challenges and triumphs of Black entrepreneurs in Atlanta's Southside (Clayton County, South Fulton, Henry County, and Fayette County, Georgia). It uncovers systemic issues in financial access, reveals how entrepreneurs navigate racial discrimination, and showcases their resilience, particularly during the COVID-19 pandemic. The study emphasizes the critical role of community support and calls for more inclusive policies to foster equitable growth and success for Black businesses. These findings are vital for understanding the entrepreneurial journey of Black business owners and guiding future support structures.
